David Jones

Bio

David is the Director of Development at AREY Group, where he leads the sourcing, pre-development, and execution of luxury multifamily, attainable housing, student housing, and public-private partnership (P3) development projects throughout the Southeast. With more than 10 years of experience in multifamily development, he has played a key role in the development and design of more than 3,500 multifamily units representing over $700 million in project value. His experience includes the development of luxury, attainable, affordable, senior, and student housing communities throughout the Southeast.

Prior to joining AREY, David served as a Development Partner at Oxford Properties, where he sourced and executed luxury multifamily development projects throughout the Southeast. He began his career as an architect with the Corcoran Ota Group, where he spent more than five years designing multifamily communities and supporting projects through entitlement, design, and construction.

David is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, having served on ULI Atlanta's Technical Assistance Panel Committee and participated in the Young Leaders Group Mentorship Program. He is a graduate of the ULI Atlanta Center for Leadership, Class of 2026.

David earned a Master of Real Estate Development from Clemson University, where he received the Advancement Board Fellowship and the Harry H. Frampton III Award for excellence in land stewardship and sustainable community design. He also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

A native of Atlanta, David enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Virginia, and their golden retriever, Bryant.
